Bookmarks

Last year these didn't get much attention on my stall at all and I wondered if it was worth doing them except that they are such fun to make!
This year however they sold extremely well and I had to make loads more in between fairs.
Here are a few pics, I have been looking for cute new lampwork beads for the 2011 range.

The lonely Bug

This 3.5cm long ladybird was made on request at a fair I attended recently. The person who requested 'a ladybird glass ring' has not contacted me. Yes, I know I could have taken details, a deposit etc but she was so sure of what she wanted, her brother took my card, promised to call and expressed relief that he had found a gift she wanted.
So, in the meantime, this bug is really cute but homeless and has not been made into a ring in case a new owner would want something else. I am going to make him some friends though.
What do you think of him?
